During Verve’s week of natural beauty, we posted articles all about creating your own natural skincare products. Even though creating your own skincare is fun and you know exactly what ingredients go into the product, there is still that sense of pampering that comes along with using companies’ natural, cruelty free skincare and cosmetics. When we look beautiful on the outside, we feel beautiful and confident on the inside.
Check out our editor’s picks of 10 natural skincare and beauty brands (and their products) you absolutely need to try.
COOLA
I am in love with this BB+ cream! COOLA’s “Rōsilliance BB+ Cream” provides a cool, smooth feeling as soon as it hits the skin. The natural tint covers blemishes while the sunscreen protects your skin from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. All in all, it leaves skin feeling smooth and glowing. It is, by far, the best BB+ cream I have ever used.
From Molly With Love
From Molly With Love is right—its beauty oil is definitely an essential. The beauty oil tightens skin and, after 2 weeks, it made my pores look visibly smaller. Paired with the foaming rose water facial cleanser, the effects are even better! The cleanser relaxes you and will cleanse your pores when used prior to rubbing the beauty oil on your skin.
Beaute Nouveau
Thank goodness for Beaute Nouveau’s “In-the-Shower Body Crème”! For all the busy boss ladies out there, listen up!
No one has the time to—or even wants to—rub enough moisturizer on your entire body to cope with dry skin, so Beaute Nouveau created an in-shower body creme. Beaute Nouveau designates it as skincare for “lazy people” (think dry shampoo—has saved so many of us), but it’s perfect for “busy people” as well.
French Girl

French Girl’s “Facial Polish” facial exfoliator does wonders! It removes dead skin and draws out toxins, making your face radiant and your pores less visible. I recommend trying French Girl’s moisturizer, Crème Fraîche!
Babe Australia
Babe’s “Blue Gum Mud Mask” rejuvenates and moisturizes skin. The mask contains antibacterial properties from the Australian blue-gum leaf, which gently heal and revitalize skin, making it the perfect face mask for all skin types.
Kopari
Kopari’s “Coconut Crush Scrub” not only feels amazing and works well, but it smells incredible! The scrub even contains pieces of coconut shell to gently remove dead skin. This scrub keeps skin feeling smooth for days!
Tarte
Tarte’s “Drink of H2O” hydrating boost moisturizer is a smooth gel that immediately provides a refreshing, cooling sensation to the skin. It also contains sea salt and marine antioxidants that nourish your skin. “Drink of H2O” will keep you feeling smooth and looking radiant.
NUDE
As NUDE mentioned in its instagram post, its “Rescue Oil” heals and protects your skin. The Rescue Oil rubs on like satin, absorbing into your skin without leaving behind any greasy residue. After trying the Rescue Oil, my pores looked more refined and my skin felt flawlessly smooth and soft. Another plus—its botanical ingredients add a serene fragrance.
Youth to the People
Kale’s not just for eating! In its “Age Prevention Cleanser”, Youth to the People uses superfoods—kale, green tea, and spinach—to give skin the vitamins and antioxidants it needs to look radiant and combat toxins and other skin imperfections. The cleanser will also help to refine pores to keep you looking youthful!
ILIA
If you’re like me, you rarely assume your eyelids need nutrients similar to the rest of your skin, but the skin on eyelids is quite thin, so protecting them is a must! ILIA’s “Silken Shadow Stick” provides eyelids with nutrients while also creating an easy way to put on eyeshadow to make your eyes stand out gorgeously.

Now, please, go ahead and pamper yourselves. Never feel guilty about taking time for yourself, and never apologize for taking a needed break!
You deserve it!
